Reconstruction of the existing tram tracks along the streets: Chopina, St. Jan Paweł II Avenue, The Wały Gen. Sikorski Street, Kraszewskiego and Czerwona Droga.
This project introduces modern solutions for the connection of tram and bus transport and completely rebuilds and modernizes the road system within these tracks.
The implementation of this investment introduces new tram connections and a completely modern interchange, which results in greater community integration and new connections for the creation of new investment opportunities.
The urban space in the immediate vicinity of the old town complex is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, making the work highly sensitive, while the newly constructed section of track has also made it possible to introduce additional tram connections.
In this way, the trams can take passengers who have until now been using individual means of transport and buses, including via a new modern interchange at St. Jan Paweł II Avenue which now integrates bus and tram transport.
