International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) to host project-based webinars in its ‘Meet the Experts’ webinar series.
IADC, the global umbrella organisation for contractors in the private dredging industry, is organising a series of interactive and informative webinars with experts from the dredging sector over the coming months. Topics, such as the importance of survey and site investigation, managing financial risk and sustainability, will be based on high-profile dredging projects.
Each webinar will focus on a dredging project and an invited expert will explain how they dealt with the chosen topic, lessons learned and the recommended advice they gave. Webinars will include time for questions from the audience.
The webinars are free to attend and further information and booking links for the first two webinars are listed below:
- Wednesday 21 April 2021 at 11am CET – The importance of survey and site investigation of project sites and sand borrow areas.
- Tuesday4 May 2021 at 11am CET – The importance of managing financial risks in a dredging project.
