New directors to lead Ramboll’s organic growth in the water sector.

Ramboll’s global water unit has welcomed two new directors to the team. Marion Engesvold has been appointed as the new country market director for water in Norway and Marlene Ullum will become the new director for Ramboll’s global water resources management division from 1 April 2023.

As new country market director for water in Norway, Marion Engesvold will be responsible for further growing Ramboll’s team, client base and service portfolio within its three main service lines of water and wastewater treatment, water infrastructure and climate adaptation and water resources management.

Engesvold joined Ramboll in 2008 and has mainly worked in the water since then, although previously she was division unit director for the ground engineering team in Ramboll’s transport division. She has already started in her new role where she succeeds Turid P Ødegaard, who will remain at Ramboll and focus on business development.

New global division director Marlene Ullum will be responsible for growing Ramboll’s team, client base and service portfolio within water resources management and sustainable water supply in the Nordics and the US. She joined Ramboll in 2013 as a skilled hydrogeologist and has been head of department for the water resources management team in Copenhagen since 2019. She starts her new role on 1 April and will take over from Søren Hvilshøj, who decided to leave Ramboll last year.

Commenting on the appointments, Esther Bosman, managing director of Ramboll Water, said: “It is a true pleasure to welcome Marion and Marlene to our great group of directors in Ramboll Water. Besides being experienced leaders and skilled water professionals, they are both good people managers which is important because we want to continue our organic growth journey in the years to come.”

Ramboll recently announced its annual financial results for 2022 where water achieved a double-digit organic growth.
