Grid programmes expert with a track record of delivery appointed to key role at global consultancy firm.

Global professional services company Turner & Townsend has appointed Maguette Fall as its new transmission lead in the US, strengthening its capabilities to deliver major power infrastructure programmes across the country.

Based in New Jersey, Fall brings more than 15 years of experience across the power and utilities sector, specialising in the planning and delivery of complex electricity transmission infrastructure. She has led large-scale capital projects and interconnection strategies for offshore energy developments, with a track record of aligning technical delivery with stakeholder and regulatory expectations.

Fall’s career includes senior roles at EDF Renewables and Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G), where she was responsible for leading interconnection teams, managing major grid infrastructure investments and coordinating with regional transmission organisations and independent system operators.

At Turner & Townsend, Fall will be responsible for helping clients address the dual challenges of grid expansion and operational performance. Her experience will also contribute to the company’s wider mission of improving delivery outcomes across transmission and distribution networks, bringing additional value to projects that are responding to load growth and new sources of generation.

David Whysall, global managing director, energy and natural resources, at Turner & Townsend, said: “Energy transition is one of the world’s greatest challenges. We remain committed to this generational priority by supporting efforts to deliver affordable, sustainable and secure energy. We welcome Maguette to our US leadership team across the transmission sector. She brings deep technical insight, proven programme management capability and a clear understanding of how to deliver grid programmes in challenging and fast-paced environments.”

Maguette Fall, transmission lead, United States, at Turner & Townsend, commented: “The US transmission sector is entering a critical phase of transformation, requiring greater efficiency, innovation and coordination across all levels of delivery. I’m looking forward to working with our clients to deliver infrastructure programmes that not only meet today’s energy needs but also set the foundation for the grid of the future.”
