Bridge towers architecturally designed in the shape lotus bud, linked to the girder segments by cable-stayed bundles, the approach bridge uses Super T girders pre-stressed reinforced concrete girder span structure.
An extradosed structure with span layout of 86m, 153m, 86m, the main girder is a pre-stressed reinforced concrete continuous structure. It is constructed using the balanced cantilever method and provides the largest main span in Vietnam.
Cua Hoi Bridge is the third bridge across the Lam River, connecting the two provinces of Nghe An – Ha Tinh. The project demonstrates the effective cooperation and implementation of regional linkages between the two provinces.
In particular, the bridge connecting with the coastal road plays an important role in regional connectivity, linking economic zones and tourist areas, creating a driving force for the development of coastal areas, marine economy and tourism services – vital to promoting socio-economic development.
