Creation of a modern port to cater for major vessels in the Horn of Africa.

This is a country that has almost been cut off from the works and reliant on aid. It is the first time such economical development shave happened ion the Horn of Africa. People were unemployable not only unemployed. For the first tie people were given jobs to provide for themselves rather than aid. They have acquired transferable skills they would have other wise. Brief description of the project:

The project was to reclaim land (dredging), construction of key wall, new container yard and buildings to create modern port to cater for major vessels in the Horn of Africa. In addition to a free zone witch includes buildings, roads and Please provide a brief description of the project? warehouse for foreign trade investors to enter the Horn of Africa and Somali land in particular. The project was built using modern construction techniques, minimum waste on concrete, a desalination plant, transparent in dealing with local communities, client and local government. The essential part of having this project successful in one of the most remote and toughest environment to invest and construct today. The people have been socially deprived and grown accustomed to receiving aid.
