Turner & Townsend makes key appointment to lead its Austrian operations.

Turner and Townsend, the global professional services company, has appointed Nadja Pröwer as its business unit lead in Austria.

Following the integration of CBRE Project Management in early January 2025, Nadja will lead the combined business in Austria under the Turner & Townsend brand, under the overall leadership of Bettina Würfel, managing director of Germany and Austria.

Pröwer brings over 24 years of experience in the real estate sector to Turner & Townsend advising both private and public sector clients. Since 2021, she led CBRE’s Austrian and Central and Eastern European project management team and its environmental, social and governance business in Austria. She began her career in 2001 as an architect before becoming a project manager and latterly heading up an international consultancy in Austria as its managing director.

Turner & Townsend in Austria will double in size following the CBRE project management integration, focusing on advising domestic and international clients on project, cost and commercial management, technical due diligence and fit-out project management.

Pröwer succeeds Matthias Prichzi who led Turner & Townsend’s business in Austria for three years. Commenting on her new role, Nadja Pröwer, Austria business unit lead for Turner & Townsend, said: “I look forward to leading our combined business in Austria ensuring all of our clients continue to receive a seamless service while providing an offer that is now unmatched in terms of scale and breadth of capability.

“From small office fit-outs to large real estate developments and infrastructure projects, our range of expertise is broad and diverse, allowing us to offer tailored support to both our Austrian and international clients.”
