New promotions at leading employee-owned North American engineering firm.
Morrison Hershfield has announced the promotion of Kent Becker to senior vice president, integrated engineering design.
In his new role, Becker will lead the Canadian headquartered consulting engineering and management firm’s building facilities engineering, mission critical and telecommunications practices in Canada, India and the USA.
Commenting on the appointment, Morrison Hershfield’s chief operating officer Catherine Karakatsanis said: “Kent develops direct and meaningful relationships with our clients, while fostering an enriching professional work environment that cultivates our MH culture.”
Becker joined Morrison Hershfield in 2017 as vice president, telecommunications and technology and quickly became a well-respected and inspirational leader. A graduate of San Diego State University, he has a diverse background that includes real estate development, technology, telecoms and software. Before joining Morrison Hershfield Becker had senior roles at Wes Tower Communications, Parsons Corporation and WFI.

Elsewhere at Morrison Hershfield, Josh Reynolds has been promoted to the role of director, telecom and technology. Reynolds, who has been with the firm for more than 15 years, has for the last five years been a lead project manager in the US East Site Development Department. His technical background is in multidisciplinary A&E projects and he holds nationwide, non-carrier experience. Reynolds has managed, climbed and analysed hundreds of macro sites across the country.
He will lead Morrison Hershfield’s telecom and technology team in the successful delivery of projects for clients across North America.
