New infrastructure leaders appointed by Arup in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Global engineering and consulting firm Arup has strengthened its practice capability on the west coast of America by naming two new infrastructure practice leaders in California. Sheba Hafiz becomes Arup’s San Francisco infrastructure practice leader and Tony Kirby is Arup’s Los Angeles infrastructure practice leader.

As Arup’s San Francisco and Los Angeles infrastructure practice leaders, Hafiz and Kirby will build on their industry expertise and Arup’s infrastructure practice’s success to provide strong, collaborative leadership for Arup’s entire infrastructure team in California.

Hafiz has led Arup’s west coast water business for over three years and held the deputy infrastructure practice leader position in San Francisco for the past year. She has led complex projects, managed large, diverse teams, and built lasting client relationships over her 22-year career.

Kirby has held the position of deputy infrastructure practice leader in Los Angeles for the past year. He has a proven track record in delivering complex multidisciplinary civil engineering projects and building successful relationships with clients and collaborators.

Arup in the USA has a diverse staff of over 1,000 people in 11 offices offering planning, engineering, and design services for high-performance buildings, consulting, and major infrastructure projects.
