Registration is now open for FIDIC’s flagship Global Infrastructure Conference 2026 to be held in New Delhi in September.
Registration is now open for FIDIC’s flagship international event of the year – the Global Infrastructure Conference being held in New Delhi from 13-15 September 2026.
The global infrastructure community is set to gather in India’s capital to discuss the key issues facing the industry under the theme, Engineering a Bright Future, Together: Quality Infrastructure for People and Prosperity. The conference, organised by FIDIC, the International Federation of Consulting Engineers, will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, financiers and engineers from over 100 countries to address the most pressing challenges in infrastructure delivery in a series of plenary sessions, discussions, debates, workshops and forums.
The conference is sponsored by Bentley Systems and is held in collaboration with the host FIDIC member association, the Consulting Engineers Association of India. New Delhi offers a highly relevant setting for the conference, reflecting India’s growing influence and leadership in global infrastructure development. As one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies, India is at the forefront of large-scale infrastructure delivery, innovation and capacity building, making it an ideal location for the global infrastructure community to meet.

The global infrastructure sector faces major challenges, including the commoditisation of engineering services, inequitable procurement practices and a $64 trillion global infrastructure investment gap. The conference will discuss many of these key issues, challenges and opportunities that are shaping the future of our industry and the world at large. With the pace of change accelerating, the skills of engineers have never been more needed in order to deliver the projects the world needs – efficiently, sustainably and at scale.
Six panel sessions at the conference include: –
- A high-level global leaders’ panel discussing how the infrastructure sector can work together to deliver quality infrastructure.
- Bridging the financial gap.
- Artificial intelligence and digital transformation in infrastructure.
- Delivering infrastructure in uncertain times: Contracting, procurement and project preparation as risk management tools.
- Building institutional settings and skills for sustainable infrastructure delivery.
- Innovative tools for planning, delivery and management of infrastructure.
The conference also includes a number of parallel sessions on a range of industry and business issues and the ever-popular FIDIC Gala Dinner and Awards, where the industry comes together to celebrate excellence in infrastructure planning and delivery. The benefits of attending this showpiece global industry event are many and include: –
- The opportunity to shape and influence tomorrow’s infrastructure.
- Engagement with top-level speakers and panellists.
- Participation in a variety of networking sessions to grow your client and customer base.
- Attending cultural events with colleagues to enjoy the best of India
- Sampling the local food and enjoying tours and activities to give you an insight into New Delhi and the wider India region.
FIDIC expects the conference to be very well supported this year and is strongly advising attendees to book early to ensure that they don’t miss out on what it says will be one of the highlights of the global infrastructure calendar.
