Nanning Rail Transit Metro Line 5 is designed and constructed with the highest international grade GOA4, with a total route length of 20.2 km, all of which are underground routes.
There are 17 stations, including 6 transfer stations and a new Nahong Rolling Stock Base. It has created five firsts in urban rail transit construction industry in China. It is the first fully automatic traffic route in South China and created a new chapter of “smart urban rail” in China.
1. "Smart Urban Rail": The whole process of the vehicles starts up from the garage, departure, main line operation, vehicle washing, and return to the garage, and flameout does not require manual intervention, realizing full automation of the whole process; The station has realized the function of station intelligent open and close as well as convenient and fast ride.
2. "Innovative Urban Rail": The Project is designed with intelligent, information-based, assembly and ecological new technical means including BIM, smart station, intelligent operation and maintenance, and establishes an operation and management mode of "integrated operation and maintenance, superimposed specialization" in China for the first time.
3. "Cultural Urban Rail": The stations of the Project are decorated taking "Rhyme of Greentown Water" as the cultural theme, "Blue Water of Yongjiang River" as the theme colour and "Water of Yongjiang River" as the cultural element, to create a new cultural logo of "Greentown of China".
