Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant Unit 5 & 6

The design of Fujian Fuqing nuclear power plant unit 5 & 6 strictly followed the regulations of Nuclear Safety Improvement Actions and General Technical Requirements of Nuclear Power Plants in Post-Fukushima Era and Safety of Nuclear Power Plants Design (HAF102-2016). Meanwhile, the construction quality control is completely based on the regulations of Nuclear Security Law of the People's Republic of China and Quality Assurance for Safety in Nuclear Power Plant. Before the operation, the WANO performance of the project was evaluated and the principles of transparency and integrity were implemented throughout the management and implementation of the project. We completed the world FOAK unit of Generation III nuclear power plant with the shortest construction period and with optimized unit construction cost. The R & D, design and innovation team of Hualong One consists of 660 people, including 1 academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering. Covering more than 70 majors, it has obtained 50 overseas patents and 716 domestic patents.
